Attorney Nathaniel H. Hitchcock (or Nathan, as his friends know him) is a graduate of Hillsdale College where he majored in Political Economy and minored in Spanish. Attorney Hitchcock is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and a former Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition competitor. During his time in law school, he developed an impressive repertoire of oral and written advocacy skills and now brings those considerable talents to bear on behalf of clients accused of committing criminal offenses.
During his time in law school, Attorney Hitchcock completed a prestigious internship with the Maine Attorney General's Office in the Criminal division, where he focused primarily on large-scale drug prosecutions. During his time at the AG's Office, Attorney Hitchcock was afforded a unique opportunity to observe and participate in the prosecution of large scale drug cases. Attorney Hitchcock's experiences gave him insight into not only what goes into the prosecution of these cases, but also into how they could be most effectively defended. His time spent as a student attorney at the AG's Office helped prepare him for representing the citizen accused in Maine's criminal justice system.
Mr. Hitchcock's practice is devoted solely to defending persons of committing criminal offenses. His legal training is focused on providing his clients with the very best legal defense possible. Attorney Hitchcock regularly attends seminars and training focused on effectively defending a wide variety of criminal case types. As an associate attorney at WTB LAW, Attorney Hitchcock is personally mentored by Attorney William Bly, who is recognized statewide as a skilled and fierce advocate in the courtroom.
Attorney Hitchcock is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts throughout Maine and is a member of the following organizations:
- York County Bar Association
